It has not nor is it currently my intention to be a professional YouTuber I do not ask for money I am starting a FrugalTech website to sell used and review gear and to better interact. I will solicit donations that I can use to purchase review products to offset cost. I am getting an Amazon Affiliate Link 1: Adblocking Software projected to cost websites 22 Billion this year 2.: Ad blocking software use up 40% in the last year 3: Web browsing was 38% last year but only 1.6% of as blocking 4. It’s advertisers fault and crappy ad networks 5. Content creators are feeling the pinch too. Less earnings from Ad revenue 6. Creators are looking at Patreon, Donations, Sponsorship, Indigogo campaigns 7. They face hate and abuse for this, one YouTuber I know says received death threats 8: YouTube is cracking down hard on sponsored ads 9.: Some are placing new content on sites such as vessel first to earn more revenue 10: We are asking for professional quality video, lighting, editing 4k, 60fps and better content 11 We are being asked to review expensive gear that we can't get from manufacturers 12: We invest in time equipment, software, many of us out of our pocket 13 YouTube is a platform for media discovery that is ad supported 14: I ask that you turn off ad blocking for your favorite media creators 15: Support them via donations Patreon or PayPal It's not ethical to use ad blocking software to deny revenue for the very same video creators that you say you support.
